Don 3 Movie: Kiara Advani Joins Ranveer Singh in Farhan Akhtar’s Next Directorial Venture

On February 20, 2024, Farhan Akhtar confirmed the inclusion of Kiara Advani in his upcoming directorial project, Don 3, the third installment of the Don franchise. In this installment, Ranveer Singh will be portraying the character of Don for the first time.

Despite Shah Rukh Khan's appearances in Don: The Chase Begins Again in 2006 and Don 2: The King is Back in 2011, he opted out of the third installment due to creative differences.

Don 3 marks Farhan Akhtar's sixth directorial venture and his initial collaboration with both Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani. It also marks the first time Kiara Advani and Ranveer Singh will share the screen. The shooting of this film will start in August this year.

The story has been written by Farhan Akhtar and supported by Vikram Vedha fame Gayatri & Pushkar. Shankar Mahadevan, Loy Mendonsa, & Ehsaan Noorani will compose the music for this film.

Kiara Advani, last seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha, is set to appear in Game Changer opposite Ram Charan and War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr. Ranveer Singh, who was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, will also feature in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again.

The half-minute teaser introduces Kiara Advani and hints at the dawn of a new era with a fresh cast in the Don universe. The film has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment.
