Manush (2023) Movie Trailer Review: Jeet is Redefining Actions in Bengali Film Industry

The highly anticipated trailer for Superstar Jeet's upcoming action thriller Manush was unveiled on November 10th, marking the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. The 2-and-a-half-minute trailer delves into the plot details and showcases riveting action sequences featuring Jeet, accompanied by powerful punchlines.

Jeet takes on the roles of Victor and Arjun, a fearless officer in the Narcotics cell. The trailer highlights two distinct phases in Jeet and Jeetu Kamal's characters' lives. It unfolds the transformation of Arjun, an honest officer willing to sacrifice as a human but determined to triumph as a father.

The film explores how Arjun, committed to working honestly and becoming a hero in his daughter's eyes, undergoes a change in perspective. The trailer adeptly presents his emotional bond with his daughter, coupled with the romantic angle involving Susmita Chatterjee.

Saurav Chakrabarti and Jeetu Kamal assume negative roles in the film, set to hit theaters Pan India on November 24, 2023. Directed by Sanjoy Somadder, the film, produced by Jeetz Filmworks and distributed by AA Films, narrates a story of hope and redemption. Bidya Sinha Mim portrays a senior officer in the Narcotics cell.

In addition to expertly choreographed action sequences by Ravi Verma, two impactful dialogues from Jeet, "Kaalo takar duniyay tora das aar porinoti beowarish lash" and "Manush hisabe ami haarte pari kintu Baba hisabe ami jitte chai," stand out as major highlights in the trailer.

Jeet has been a stalwart in the Bengali Film Industry for over 21 years, making his debut with Sathi in 2002. His dedicated efforts in commercial cinema began in 2010, making him the sole hero in Bengali Cinema consistently drawing mass audiences to theaters for the past decade.

Since 2010, with consecutive action hits like Josh, Wanted, and Dui Prithibi, Jeet has found success in commercial cinema. His journey continued with blockbuster action movies such as Awara, Boss: Born to Rule, Power, Raavan, Boss 2: Back to Rule, and Chengiz. Jeet is set to feature in Writer-director Sauvik Kundu's upcoming film, Boomerang.

Hindi Trailer:

The Hindi dubbing of Manush movie's trailer seems satisfactory, though the dialogues lack the impact present in the Bengali version. I hope this film achieves success on a Pan-India scale.
