Windows Productions celebrated a decade of success in the industry this July. Adding to their jubilation, they have joined forces with the National Film Award-winning actor, Victor Banerjee, for the very first time.

This collaboration comes as a significant milestone after having partnered with numerous top actors in the industry. Together, they are working on their upcoming thriller titled Raktabeej (Rawktobeej), helmed by renowned directors Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee.

Scheduled to grace the silver screen during the Durga Puja festivities on October 19, 2023, the film's teaser was unveiled on 25th August 2023. The teaser, running for a captivating 1 minute and 2 seconds, prominently features the return of the seasoned actor Victor Banerjee, marking his comeback after a three-year hiatus.

In a powerful dialogue delivered within the teaser, Banerjee asserts, "In a battle between good and evil, forgiveness ceases to be a virtue; it becomes a symbol of weakness." The once-celebrated superstar, who has contributed to the success of numerous Bengali films, is poised to captivate audiences once again.

The narrative of Raktabeej orbits around the explosion in Burdwan in 2014 and the ensuing investigation. The film is set to be released in four languages: Bengali, Hindi, Odia, and Assamese. In addition to the esteemed Victor Banerjee, the enigmatic thriller boasts the talents of Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty in lead roles.

An ensemble cast including Anasua Majumdar, Kanchan Mallick, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Satyam Bhattacharya, Debasish Mondal, and Devlina Kumar will also play pivotal characters in this cinematic venture.

The compelling storyline of Raktabeej is penned by Nandita Roy, Shiboprosad Mukherjee, and Zinia Sen. Zinia Sen and Sarbari Ghoshal have masterfully crafted the screenplay and dialogues. The music for the film will be a collaborative effort by Dohar, Anindya Chattopadhyay, and Surajit Chatterjee.

Malay Laha will lend his expertise to the editing process, while Pratip Mukhopadhyay will be the creative eye behind the cinematography. Prabuddha Banerjee is entrusted with the responsibility of creating an impactful background score that will enhance the overall cinematic experience.
