Bengali Web Series: Indubala Bhaater Hotel
The trailer of the upcoming Bengali web series Indubala Bhaater Hotel was released on 20th February 2023 and the series will premiere on Hoichoi on 8th March 2023. The series by Debaloy Bhattacharya has been adapted from Kallol Lahiri’s novel and will mark the OTT debut of Subhashree Ganguly.
The trailer highlights Indu aka Indubala’s journey from being called a Refugee after the partition to becoming a famous hotelier. The camera work and the background score look quite good in the trailer. The music by Amit Chatterjee looks perfect. The series is produced by Maansi Entertainment.
The series has already created hype on social media due to Subhashree Ganguly’s look. The prosthetic makeup artist Somnath Kundu is the man behind presenting her with this surprising look. He is associated with the Industry for more than 26 years & continues to win hearts with his magical works. Previously, we have seen some of his notable works include Prosenjit Chatterjee’s look in Gumnaami, Jeetu Kamal’s look in Aparajito, Gargee Roychowdhury’s look in Mahananda, & Jisshu Sengupta’s look in Ek Je Chilo Raja, etc.
The scenes featuring Indubala in her young days, her struggle after the partition, & the Naxal movement perfectly define the theme of the series. Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Angana Roy, Sneha Chatterjee, & Rahul Banerjee will be seen portraying crucial characters in this series.
