Projapoti Bengali Movie (2022) Trailer: Dev and Mithun Chakraborty’s 2nd collaboration after Herogiri
The much-awaited trailer of Dev starrer Projapoti was finally released on 1st December 2022 & the 3 minutes long trailer revealed too much about the plot. Thematically, the movie looks like a mix of Dev-Koel Mallick-Mithun Chakraborty starrer, Herogiri and Dev-Paran Bandhopadhyay starrer, Tonic.
Like Herogiri, Mithun Chakraborty and Dev will be again seen in a father-son relationship here too and the father wants his son to get married. Likewise, Dev and Mithun Chakraborty’s relationship might remind you of the former’s maiden collaboration with Avijit Sen Tonic.
Mithun Chakraborty and Mamata Shankar’s characters are the main attraction of this family drama as they will be sharing the screen space for the second time after Mrigaya in 1976.
The trailer also hinted at a triangle love story between Dev, Koushani Mukherjee, and Sweta Bhattacharya. Projapoti marks Sweta Bhattacharya’s debut on the big screen & the second collaboration between Dev and Avijit Sen.
Anupam Roy, Surojit Chatterjee, and Rathijit Bhattacharjee will handle the music composition of the movie & Rathijit Bhattacharjee will provide the background score.
The trailer was released 1 day after the teaser of Jeet starrer upcoming action thriller Chengiz was released which will be released in theatres next year.
