Kaberi Antardhan (2023) Trailer Review:
The 2 minutes 37 seconds trailer of Kaberi Antardhan indicates a gripping mystery thriller. The plot revolves around the time in 1975 when the Naxal movement was all over the country, and Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared emergency rule in India.
A senior police officer, Mrinmoy Ghosh (Koushik Sen) got murdered and Kaberi (Srabanti Chatterjee) disappeared. Officer-in-charge Pritam Singh (Indraneil Sengupta) and a criminal investigation expert (Kaushik Ganguly) arrived to investigate the case.
Prosenjit Chatterjee will be portraying an interesting character in this movie. Kaberi Antardhan marks 4th collaboration between director Kaushik Ganguly and actor Prosenjit Chatterjee after Drishtikone, Kishore Kumar Junior, & Jyeshthoputro. Churni Ganguly and Ambarish Bhattacharya also have crucial roles to portray here.
After a long time, we are hopeful of a good project from Surinder Films which is considered one of the most popular production houses in the Bengali film industry. In 2022, the only movie released from this production house is Toke Chhara Banchbo Na starring Yash Dasgupta and Priyanka Sarkar, which had a forgetful collection at the box office.
In 2022, Prosenjit Chatterjee appeared in movies like Kakababur Protyaborton, Kolkatar Harry, Aay Khuku Aay, and Kacher Manush. He will be also featured in upcoming movies like Shesh Pata, Daktar Kaku, Jubilee, Protipokkho, Sajhghor, & Praktan 2.
Director Kaushik Ganguly had only one release in 2022 Lokkhi Chele starring Ujaan Ganguly which was critically acclaimed and won the hearts of audiences. The director will also make his directorial debut in Bollywood with Manohar Pandey next year apart from directing movies like Ardhangini, Dhumketu, Kabaddi Kabaddi, & Palan.
