On 12th June 2022, director Parambrata Chattopadhyay released the first look poster of his upcoming movie titled Boudi Canteen & it will arrive in cinemas this Durga Puja.
Boudi Canteen (2022) Bengali Movie Story:
The story of Boudi Canteen is about Poulomi (Subhashree Ganguly), a school teacher by profession. She is married to Sourish (Parambrata Chattopadhyay), who is a columnist & very supportive of his wife. She is passionate about cooking & she struggles a lot to fulfill her dream of becoming a professional chef.
Anashua Majumdar is playing the character of Poulomi’s mother-in-law. Soham Chakraborty plays the character of Bablu, a businessman who is trying to save his food-serving business. He came to know about Poulomi & decided to take her help to save the business.
Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Subhashree Ganguly will share the screen again after their recently released movie Habji Gabji.
The film tells the story of a woman’s struggle to follow her passion, and maintain the balance of her personal & professional life. Joy Sarkar will compose the music for this movie.
It is good to see director Parambrata Chattopadhyay always experiment with new concepts. He directed Tiki Taka in 2020, & Bony in 2021. Boudi Canteen is his second directorial movie in 2022 after Abhijaan.
