Varisu (Thalapathy66): Vijay and Director Vamshi Paidipally’s Maiden Collaboration
Director Vamshi Paidipally, who has recently won National Film Award for Maharshi is collaborating with Thalapathy Vijay for the first time. The movie has been tentatively titled #Thalapathy66. Dil Raju & Shirish of Sri Venkateswara Creations banner will bankroll the movie.
Vijay will start shooting for this movie after wrapping up the shooting of director Nelson Dilipkumar’s Beast co-starring Pooja Hegde.
His last released movie was director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Master co-starring Vijay Sethupathi & Malavika Mohanan.
Vamshi Paidipally made his directorial debut in 2007 with the movie Munna starring Prabhas and Ileana D'Cruz.
After that, he collaborated with NTR Jr for Brindavanam, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun for Yevadu, Nagarjuna, Karthi for Oopiri, and Mahesh Babu for Maharshi.
Varisu (#Thalapathy66) will be his 6th directorial movie. After the announcement on social media, the fans are expressing their excitement for this movie.
