Ajay Devgan and Tabu Movies

If you look at the history of Bollywood, only a few on-screen pairs have managed to entertain audiences for more than three decades. One such iconic pair is Ajay Devgn and Tabu, who began their journey in 1994 with Vijaypath and reunited most recently in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha in 2024. Thakshak, directed by Govind Nihalani and released on 3 December 1999, had a budget of ₹6.5 crore and earned ₹3.64 crore as its net collection in India, proving to be a commercial flop.

Drishyam, directed by Nishikant Kamat and released on 31 July 2015, had a budget of ₹62 crore and earned ₹68.67 crore as its net collection in India, proving to be a commercial success.

Golmaal Again, directed by Rohit Shetty and released on 20 October 2017, was made on a budget of ₹142 crore and collected ₹205.5 crore in India, becoming a major commercial success.

De De Pyaar De, directed by Akiv Ali and released on 17 May 2019, was produced on a budget of ₹78 crore and earned ₹94.5 crore in India, marking it as a commercial success.

Drishyam 2, directed by Abhishek Pathak and released on 18 November 2022, had a budget of ₹50 crore and collected a massive ₹233.53 crore in India, emerging as a blockbuster success.

Bholaa, directed by Ajay Devgn and released on 30 March 2023, was made on a budget of ₹100 crore and earned ₹80.26 crore as its net collection in India, with a worldwide collection of ₹111.64 crore, resulting in an average verdict.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, directed by Neeraj Pandey and released on 2 August 2024, was made on a budget of ₹100 crore but managed only around ₹12.91 crore worldwide, turning out to be a flop.

Looking at this impressive track record, we can confidently say that the on-screen pair of Ajay Devgn and Tabu will always be regarded as one of the most successful on-screen pairs in Bollywood, as the majority of their collaborations have translated into strong box office success.
