On 6th November 2025, actress Rukmini Maitra shared an exciting update on her social media handle. Her upcoming film Haati Haati Paa Paa is all set for its World Premiere at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Goa 2025, India’s biggest and most prestigious film festival.
The film, directed by Arnab K. Middya, also stars Chiranjeet Chakraborty in the lead role, along with Anjana Basu, Sandip Bhattacharjee, Tulika Basu, Biswarup Bandyopadhyay, Eshika Dey, Sayan Ghosh, Monalisa Chatterjee, and Swagata Basu in crucial roles. The film marks Rukmini Maitra’s second collaboration with Chiranjeet Chakraborty after Chaamp.
Haati Haati Paa Paa is Arnab K. Middya’s third directorial venture after Andarkahini: Self-Exile and Sedin Kuyasha Chilo, and also marks his first collaboration with Chiranjeet Chakraborty and Rukmini Maitra. This film marks the 12th Bengali film of Rukmini Maitra’s career.
Haati Haati Paa Paa Movie Teaser Review:
The teaser of Haati Haati Paa Paa was officially released on October 12, 2025. The nearly one-minute teaser beautifully captures the tender bond between a father and daughter, portrayed by Chiranjeet Chakraborty and Rukmini Maitra.
It depicts how Rukmini Maitra’s character deeply loves her father, yet finds some of his actions difficult to bear at times. As the film is premiering at the 56th IFFI, it has generated a decent buzz, with its theatrical release scheduled for this winter.
The film is produced by Arunava Middya, with Manvata Consultants Pvt. Ltd. serving as the co-producer. The story, screenplay, and dialogue have been penned by Priyanka Poddar. Indranath Marick handled the cinematography, Pronoy Dasgupta edited the film, and Ranajoy Bhattacharjee composed the music.
