Aziz Sejawal's directorial action film Andolan completed 30 years. The film was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt.Ltd.
The film, starring Sanjay Dutt, Govinda, Mamta Kulkarni, and Somy Ali in lead roles, was released in theatres on 3rd March 1995. The film, produced with a budget of around ₹3.5 crore, went on to collect over ₹10 crore at the box office.
Asha Parekh, Dalip Tahil, Mohan Joshi, Rami Reddy, Ishrat Ali, Deepak Shirke, Vikram Gokhale, Madan Jain appeared in significant roles in this film. Actress Divya Bharti was initially cast as Guddi in the film, but following her untimely demise, Mamta Kulkarni took over the role.
