On 6th January 2025, Writer-Director Jeethu Joseph unveiled the title of his upcoming film. He unveiled the title Mirage: Fades as You Get Closer through a motion poster that also introduced the film's leading star cast.
Asif Ali is the male lead and Aparna Balamurali is the female lead of this thriller. Mirage marks 2nd collaboration between Asif Ali and director Jeethu Joseph after Kooman.
This much-anticipated project features a screenplay by director Jeethu Joseph and Bollywood writer Srinivas Abrol, with Aparna R. Tarakad credited for the story. Satheesh Kurup will handle the cinematography of this film marking his 5th collaboration with director Jeethu Joseph after Drishyam 2, 12th Man, Kooman and Neru
Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali’s film is slated to begin production on January 15, 2025. The makers have yet to finalize the release date, with shooting expected to span several schedules throughout the first half of the year.
Vishnu Shyam is the composer for the songs and original score, while VS Vinayak takes charge of editing, and Prashanth Madhav oversees the production design. E4 Experiments, Naad Sstudios, and Seven One Seven Productions have come together to produce Mirage: Fades as you get closer
