Dangal achieved the distinction of becoming the 19th highest-grossing sports film worldwide. With a worldwide gross of over Rs 2,000 crores, Dangal emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2016.
Even after eight years since its release, Dangal continues to hold the top spot among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.
