On 17th June 2024, Eskay Movies unveiled the official teaser of director Anonno Mamun’s upcoming action thriller Dorod. The film, starring Superstar Shakib Khan as the protagonist and Sonal Chauhan as the female lead, makes history as the first-ever Bangladeshi film to be released in Bengali, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Earlier, the makers unveiled the first look poster of this film on Valentine’s Day.
The 2-minute 25-second teaser introduces us to Dulu Miya (Shakib Khan), who seems to have a personality disorder. He is seen killing people, but the very next moment, he is scared by the sight of dead bodies in front of him. Shakib Khan is also seen romancing Sonal Chauhan. In the last scene of the teaser, Shakib Khan is seen dancing inside what appears to be a theatre, saying, “Ami Tahole Jitei Gelam.”
Shakib Khan’s performance and the background score by Elango Leela Indhrajith are the major highlights of this teaser. Payel Sarkar will portray the character of a police officer, and Rahul Dev is the antagonist of Dorod. Rajesh Sharma, Safa Marua, and Biswajit Chakraborty also appear in the teaser.
Eskay Movies, Action Cut Entertainment, and Kibria Films have jointly produced this film. The film marks Anonno Mamun and Shakib Khan’s second collaboration after Nabab LLB. Venkatesh Gangadhari is handling the cinematography, Arafat Mehmood has composed the music, and Somnath Dey has edited the film. Shakib Khan's latest film Toofan released in the theatres yesterday.
