Good Bad Ugly (AK63) (2025) Movie: Superstar Ajith Kumar and Adhik Ravichandran’s Maiden Collaboration

On March 14, 2024, Mythri Movie Makers unveiled the title of one of the most highly anticipated upcoming Tamil films starring Superstar Ajith Kumar. The new action thriller, titled Good Bad Ugly, features Ajith Kumar and was previously referred to by the tentative title AK63, marking the 63rd project in Ajith Kumar’s career. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on Pongal 2025.

The production house shared on social media, "With wholesome humbleness, we announce the title of AK's next movie called #GoodBadUgly." The poster shared by the makers features blood-stained wires and images of guns in the background.

This film marks the fifth directorial venture of Adhik Ravichandran after "Trisha Illana Nayanthara," "Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan," "Bagheera," and "Mark Antony," and it also signifies his first collaboration with Superstar Ajith Kumar.

"Good Bad Ugly" also marks the debut collaboration of Mythri Movie Makers with Ajith Kumar and Adhik Ravichandran. Other upcoming films from Mythri Movie Makers include "Pushpa 2: The Rule," "Ustaad Bhagat Singh," "Nadigar Thilagam," and "RT4GM."

Ajith Kumar was last seen in H. Vinoth's directorial Thunivu, and he will also appear in the upcoming film "Vidaa Muyarchi," directed by Magizh Thirumeni, alongside Arjun Sarja, Trisha Krishnan, and Regina Cassandra.

Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar are producing this film under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Ajith Kumar and Devi Sri Prasad are collaborating after 10 years, since their last collaboration in "Veeram" in 2014.

Devi Sri Prasad, who celebrated 25 years in the industry on March 12th this year, will compose the music for this film, while Adhik Ravichandran has written the story himself. Abhinandhan Ramanujam is handling the cinematography, Vijay Velukutty is editing the film, Supreme Sundar is the stunt choreographer, Suren is the sound designer, and Anuvardhan is the costume designer.
