On March 19, 2024, Cop Creation unveiled the official teaser for the upcoming thriller Esha Murder: Cycle of Karma. Directed by Sunny Sanwar, the thriller stars Azmeri Haque Badhon, Puja Agnes Cruze, Sumit Sengupta, Misha Sawdagar, and Shatabdi Wadud. The film, jointly produced by Rajnahar and Umme Khairun Islam (Swizee) under the banner of Cop Creation and Binge, is set to be released in theaters this EID UL Adha.
The one-minute teaser opens with investigating officer Lina (Azmeri Haque Badhon), tasked with uncovering the killers behind three rape and murder cases that occurred after February 14th. The victims were Archana Gope, Jasmine Tulip, and Esha Jannat. Is their fate intertwined, or is there a deeper motive behind the murders? Will Lina succeed in solving the case?
Azmeri Haque Badhon's compelling screen presence and the captivating music by Imran Mahamudul and Jahid Nirob stand out as the major highlights of this gripping teaser. The story and screenplay were penned by Sunny Sanwar, with scriptwriting support from Hasanat Bin Matin, and dialogues by Shahjahan Sourav.
Sudipta Majumdar handled the cinematography, Pranoy Dasgupta edited the film, and Edward F. Gomes choreographed the action sequences. Esha Murder: Cycle of Karma marks Sunny Sanwar's fourth directorial venture, following "Bilaap," "Mission Extreme," and "Black War: Mission Extreme 2." Azmeri Haque Badhon was last seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's Khufiya. The film also marks the maiden collaboration between Sunny Sanwar and Azmeri Haque Badhon.
