Chakrabuha (2023) Trailer Review: Poor cinematography, subpar special effects, and inadequate sound design
On November 30, 2023, Addatimes unveiled the trailer for their upcoming film, Chakrabuha. Director Partha Sarthi Joardar himself has written the story and screenplay for this film.
The 1-minute 24-second trailer highlights the kidnapping of three girls from the city, with the police unable to trace the kidnapper. A group of people is seen claiming to fight and protest for something.
Shaheb Bhattacherjee plays the lead role in the film. Debesh Roychowdhury, whose contribution to the OTT space is significant, has previously appeared in films and web series like Durgo Rawhoshyo, Mr. Kolkata, Shohorer Ushnotomo Din E, Mohor, and Mandaar, and will play a crucial role in this film.
Rupsha Mukherjee, Rajesh Sharma, and Sudipta Chakraborty will also be featured in supporting roles in the film. However, the cinematography, special effects, sound design, and overall quality appear subpar due to the low production value, evident in the trailer.
This film marks the third directorial venture of Partha Sarthi Joardar after Amar Prithibi in 2015 and Annyo Na in 2013.
