Lost (2023) Movie Review:

Lost is a thrilling mystery movie that revolves around the life of a theatre artist and activist, Ishan Bharti (played by Tushar Pandey), and his girlfriend Ankita Chauhan (Pia Bajpiee), a Metro news channel anchor. When Ankita interviews politician Ranjan Varman (Rahul Khanna), he offers her a job. Meanwhile, crime reporter Vidhi Sahani (Yami Gautam) decides to investigate the case of Ishan's sister, whom she found crying at the police station. Will Vidhi be able to uncover the truth about what happened to Ishan?

Here are some reasons why Lost is a must-watch on ZEE5:

  1. Yami Gautam delivers an outstanding performance as the fearless crime reporter Vidhi Sahani. Her portrayal of the character is commendable, and her chemistry with Pankaj Kapur (who plays her grandfather) is heartwarming. Yami has proven her mettle as an actor in previous movies like A Thursday, Dasvi, Uri: The Surgical Strike, Bala, Ginny Weds Sunny, and Kaabil.
  2. The movie was shot in various parts of Kolkata, and the cinematography by Avik Mukhopadhyay is breathtaking. The picturesque views of the city add to the overall charm of the movie.
  3. Pankaj Kapur's performance as Vidhi's grandfather is also noteworthy. His conversations with his granddaughter bring a touch of humor to this thrilling mystery.
  4. Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's direction deserves a special mention. He has previously directed the critically acclaimed movie Pink, and his style of creating engaging thrillers sets him apart from other filmmakers.
  5. The performances of Rahul Khanna, Tushar Pandey, Pia Bajpiee, and Kaushik Sen are all noteworthy. Each actor has done justice to their respective characters and will keep you engaged throughout the movie.
  6. The plot twist in the climax, the seamless editing by Bodhaditya Banerjee, and the soulful music by Shantanu Moitra are other aspects that make Lost a must-watch on ZEE5.
