Thank You (2022) Telugu Review: Story, Performances & Analysis

The movie Thank You begins with Priya (Raashi Khanna) discovering she's pregnant and feeling uncertain about it. She confides in Sailaja aunty (Easwari Rao) and expresses her concerns about her boyfriend Abhiram (Naga Chaitanya), who has become a successful businessman with an ego and a bad attitude.

Abhiram developed an app called Vaidya in the USA and received funding from Priya to start his own company. He was helped by Rao uncle (Prakash Raj), who supported him along the way. However, when Rao uncle asked Abhiram for help in finding jobs for some candidates in his company, Abhiram insulted him, and Rao uncle suffered a fatal heart attack. Priya blamed Abhiram for the incident and left him.

Realizing the error of his ways, Abhiram decides to meet with his ex-girlfriend Paaru (Malvika Nair), sister Chinnu (Avika Gor), and friend Sharva (Sai Sushanth Reddy) to thank them for their contributions to his success. Through this journey, he learns valuable lessons about himself and his relationships.

The performances of the cast are a highlight of Thank You, with Naga Chaitanya delivering an outstanding performance as Abhiram. The character is well-developed, thanks to director Vikram K Kumar's focus. Malvika Nair impresses as Paaru, but her chemistry with Abhiram could have been explored more. Raashi Khanna delivers a decent performance, but some of her emotional scenes fall short. Avika Gor shines as Chinnu and deserved more screen time.

The supporting cast, including Prakash Raj, Sai Sushanth Reddy, Sampath Raj, and Easwari Rao, provide solid support and make their presence felt.

The main drawback of Thank You is its lack of originality and twists. The story is predictable and has similarities to the Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi.

In conclusion, if you're in the mood for a romantic drama with good performances, Thank You is worth considering.
