Sunny Deol released the motion poster of “Gadar 2” on Dussehra:

As earlier promised by Sunny Deol, the motion poster of his new movie “Gadar 2” has been released on the auspicious day of Dussehra, 15th October 2021. Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma will reprise their roles from the original movie in this Anil Sharma-directed sequel. The movie will be bankrolled by Zee Studios and Anil Sharma Production & scheduled for a release in 2022.

While “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha” marked the maiden collaboration of actor Sunny Deol & director Anil Sharma, “Gadar 2” will be their 5th collaboration.

The sequel of the blockbuster movie “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha” will finally arrive after more than two decades of its release. Fans are showing their love and excitement over the arrival of this sequel. “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha” story revolved around the love story of a Sikh truck driver Tara Singh(Sunny Deol) & Muslim Pakistani girl Sakina(Ameesha Patel). The romantic period action movie was released on 15th June 2001 & has a different fan base in India.

Following its release that time it went past Salman Khan-Madhuri Dixit starter "Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994)" & became the highest-grossing Indian film of all time. The movie starred Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Amrish Puri & director Anil Sharma’s son Utkarsh Sharma who played the character of Sunny Deol & Ameesha Patel’s son Charanjeet "Jeete" Singh. While the collaboration of Music composer Uttam Singh & Lyricist Anand Bakshi was magical in the first part, the music of this sequel will be composed by Mithoon.

Utkarsh Sharma made his debut in a lead role in Anil Sharma’s last movie “Genius” co-starring Ishitha Chauhan which was released in 2018.

Ameesha Patel, who made her debut in Bollywood in the year 2000 with the movie “Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai” opposite Hrithik Roshan, was last seen in the movie “Bhaiaji Superhit” in 2018.
