Mohomaya Web Series Story & Performances:
Are you in love with Hoichoi’s list of nonstop blockbuster
series? Well, this seems to be quite common these days among movies and web
series lovers.
For quite a long time they are delivering the content that
is keeping the audience engaged on this platform.
Their latest release Mohomaya seemed a bit different from
the previous content. The psychological thriller certainly has its highs and
lows like every other series.
The story of Mohomaya revolves around Rishi(Bipul Patra) who
lost her mother Maaya(Ananya Chatterjee) in childhood. His mother’s absence
left a blank space in his life and made him mentally unbalanced.
His horrifying past still haunts him. His childhood friend’s
mother Runa’s(Swastika Mukherjee) appearance has brought back a smile on his
face. He takes her as his mother and did everything to get close to her and
stay with her.
Many loopholes are there in the story that may sometimes leave
you wondering about the scene’s inclusion in the series.
The story was mainly told from the viewpoint of the
psychologically stressed character Rishi. More than the grown-up Rishi, we quite
liked the kid who has portrayed his childhood character.
Composer duo Amit-Ishan’s music also failed to create the
magic as they did in Dracula Sir, or Charitraheen 3.
Director Kamaleswar Mukherjee is best known for his movies
like Chander Pahar, Amazon Obhijaan Meghe Dhaka Tara, etc. His effort in Mohomaya
somehow succeeded in bringing the best from two genius actresses of the Tollywood
Industry.
It was mainly Ananya Chatterjee whose Maaya character & Swastika Mukherjee’s Runa character has given the Mohomaya web series a reason to invest your precious time.
Except for the top-notch performances from Ananya Chatterjee
& Swastika Mukherjee, there were hardly any elements that will make you
fall for this series.
