The movie was released on 12th November on Netflix.
Ludo Movie Story & Performances:
A multi-narrative movie by Anurag Basu always keeps the
audience’s
expectations high. We can easily say that he didn’t
disappoint us this
time also. Ludo movie was completely different from “Life
In A Metro”
movie but it has its uniqueness in storytelling.
The gangster Sattu Bhaiya(Pankaj Tripathi) killed a
person named Bhinder
and kidnapped a few others including Rahul(Rohit Suresh
Saraf), who
works as a sales executive. On the way, he also kidnapped
Bhanu(Bhanu
Uday), husband of Asha(Asha Negi). Bhanu had to pay 90
lakh to Sattu
Bhaiya but he failed to do so.
Asha is the ex-wife of Bittu(Abhishek Bachchan), and they have a daughter named Ruhi. Once Bittu worked under Sattu Bhaiya but his love for Asha helped him in quitting the job.
Sattu Bhaiya was never happy with Bittu’s decision. He
trapped Bittu and
sent him to jail for 6 years. His absence forced Asha to
marry Bhanu for a
better future for their daughter.
Akash Chauhan(Aditya Roy Kapur), is a stand-up comedian as
well as a
voice artist. He found a video of him and his ex-girlfriend Shruti (Sanya
Malhotra)the lovemaking which went viral.
After searching on Facebook he came to know that Shruti is
getting
married soon. To save her life he went to the police
station where
inspector Sukumar Sinha (Ishtiyak Arif Khan) informed him
that to
register an FIR, the presence of the girl is mandatory.
Akash went to Shruti’s house and told her everything
after showing the
video. She thought he was blackmailing her. Later she
agreed and went
to the police station with Akash for registering a complaint.
Alok Kumar Gupta aka Aalu (Rajkummar Rao) from his
childhood loves
Pinky(Fatima Sana Shaikh) is crazy. But Pinky got
married to Manohar
Jain(Paritosh Tripathi) and they have a son.
Aalu still loves her and he can do everything to make her
happy. Manohar’s
sudden changes in lifestyle make Pinky think that he is having
an extra
marital affair.
Bittu returned from Jail and came to know from Asha that
Sattu Bhaiya has
kidnapped Manohar.
Akash went to Sattu Bhaiya asking for help in deleting
that video from the
internet and catching the person who uploaded the video. While
Akash was
returning, Bittu arrived there to request Sattu for
releasing Manohar.
An explosion in the kitchen occurs where Sattu &
Bittu were injured. Bittu
found a little girl Minni, who was searching for her
little pet dog Chiku.
Bittu was missing her own daughter very badly and in
Minni, he found her
own daughter. The moments he spent with Minni were so
precious for Bittu.
Whether we talk about the story, acting, direction, music,
or other parts
Ludo movie stands out in every aspect. Like his previous
blockbusters,
Anurag Basu succeeded in keeping the audience engaged throughout
the movie.
Final Words:
It will be unfair if we speak about one or two
individuals about their
performances here. Almost each and every lead cast
provided top-notch
performances which made Ludo movie a must-watch.
