After the grand success of season 1, Hoichoi has finally
released the Bengali web series Tansener Tanpura Season 2
on 13th November 2020.
Tansener Tanpura Season 2 Review: Story & Performances:
Alap (Vikram Chatterjee) and Shruti’s (Rupsha Chatterjee) journey continues to resolve the mystery of Tansen’s Tanpura.
Ranjan (Debshankar Haldar) went to meet Ramnidhi (Subhasish Mukherjee). He gave him some money and asked if he was getting the Tansen’s Tanpura.
Ranjan also offered him money if he would hand over the Tanpura to Ranjan. Ramnidhi Disagrees and sends him back empty-handed.
Alap found an exercise book in Shruti’s mother’s room. After opening that exercise book he found handwriting which he might have seen somewhere else.
The next day Shruti’s mother was quite surprised when Alap informed her that he knew whose handwriting that was.
Then Alap and Shruti met with each of those persons one by one who connected with the clues provided by Shruti’s Grandfather to solve the mystery of Tansen’s Tanpura.
Joy Sarkar made this musical journey more awesome with a top-class Indian Classical music composition here. The classical numbers will make you fall in love with this web series again and again.
Talking about the performances we must say Vikram Chatterjee and Rupsa Chatterjee are convincing. Vikram Chatterjee especially was excellent in those emotional scenes. The rest of the star cast provided ably support which makes this Web series worth watching.
The reason why season 1 got so much praise from the critics was the suspense from the beginning till the end. Writer Sougata Basu is brilliant to keep up that momentum in season 2 also.
Though some of the parts almost looked similar to season 1. Overall we can say it was a pleasant experience to watch the Tansener Tanpura web series on Hoichoi.
Tansener Tanpura will certainly remain one of the best musical thrillers made in the Bengali film industry to date. It is also one of the best Bengali web series in Hoichoi.
They added a twist before ending it. Alap and Shruti have successfully resolved the Tansener Tanpura mystery. Now they wanted to come back again with some new adventures.
